Course Overview:
As a CI® Certified Building Contaminant Technician student, you will receive in-depth education and meaningful hands-on training in the fast growing field of Indoor Air Quality, Mold Remediation and Water Damaged Buildings. At the completion of our course, you will have gained the knowledge to evaluate and remediate mold contamination and water damage, as well as other indoor air pollutants which are often overlooked and forgotten. Our program will also provide training in the critical area of ensuring proper air quality and ventilation specific to Florida's environmental conditions. The legal aspect and risk management related to each topic will also be reviewed.Continuing Education Credits:
Florida Contractors licensed under the CILB will receive 21 hours of Continuing Education Credit. Florida Electricians licensed under the ECLB will receive 11 hours of Continuing Education Credit. Architects and Florida Engineers will receive 17.25 hrs of Related Continuing Education Credit. Attorneys will receive 7 hours of general Continuing Education Credit. Georgia Contractors will receive 14 hours of Continuing Education Credit.CI® Certification:
In order to obtain the CI® Certification designation of CI®-BCT, candidates must successfully pass a proctored competency exam requiring a minimum score of 75%. The exam is given on-line after completion of the 3-Day course.Curriculum:

- Review of Jobsite Photographs - Construction Defects and Mistakes that lead to Microbial Contamination.

- Exterior Cladding and Siding - Correct Installation Details
- How to Specify and Use Sealants, Coatings and Moisture Barriers
- Biocides, Chemicals, Encapsulates and Enzymes
- UV Technologies and Ozone Generators

Course Cost:
The Fee for this Course is $495, which includes; 3 days (21 hours) of classroom instruction with the CI® Certified Instruction staff (classroom instruction will also count for your Continuing Education credits for the upcoming renewal cycle), your CI® Certified Building Contaminant Technician Reference Manual, your CI® Certified BCT Examination, and Lunch for all three days.Seminar Dates:
